Project Description

Baruch College’s historic Lawrence and Eris Field Building renovation is underway to bring the institution’s treasured building up to date after almost a century of service. The project consists of structural work, exterior and interior construction and finishes, elevator rehabilitation, and selective demolition. There will be a partial renovation of the cellar, lobby upgrade, and added MEP systems inclusive of security, informational technologies, and audio visual. Among the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing upgrades is the installation of a new ConEdison vault to address the building’s electricity source which is maxed out in its current state. Throughout the duration of the multi-phase renovation, the building will remain occupied and functional.
